About
A boutique network consulting firm delivering stability and efficiency through deep expertise and automation.
When you work with Sirkin Consulting, you get a senior network architect embedded in your organization—not a junior associate, not a rotating cast of consultants. Craig Sirkin works directly with your team, your vendors and your integrators to design, build and operate the network your business depends on.
This model has proven effective across a wide range of environments. Whether serving as the network architect for a professional sports franchise, leading a data center fabric buildout for a major utility or working alongside a government agency's IT team, the approach is the same: deep involvement, decisive action and accountability for results.
We don't sell products. We bring decades of experience across Arista, Juniper, Cisco and other leading platforms—along with a track record of rescuing troubled projects and delivering outcomes in environments where downtime is not an option.
Based in Denver, available everywhere.
Craig currently serves as the network architect for a major NFL franchise and their stadium, where he has spent four years modernizing the network infrastructure, implementing 802.1X access control and MAC authentication bypass using Cisco ISE, and driving improvements in performance, stability and operational professionalism. He also leads a greenfield data center fabric program for a large US power utility using Arista switching, AVD and ANTA, and works with a state government agency on network architecture and security.
Craig's vendor expertise spans Arista, Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto and others. He spent six years in Juniper Networks' professional services organization, where he consulted for international Fortune 500 clients and recognized the transformative power of network automation. Prior to that, he was an IP Engineer at Level 3 Communications, designing and deploying carrier-grade VoIP networks and leading an engineering team responsible for wholesale voice products.
Earlier in his career, Craig connected George Washington University to Internet2 and contributed to the early designs of the regional research network that became the Mid-Atlantic Crossroads—the Internet2 node for the D.C., Maryland and Northern Virginia region.
Craig credits his unconventional education—a liberal arts college built entirely on the reading and discussion of the great books of the Western tradition—with making him an analytical thinker who approaches every technical challenge with a view of the big picture. He has also developed a specialization in rescuing troubled network projects for frustrated customers, drawing on years of experience turning around failed engagements at previous employers.
Every engagement starts with a conversation. We'd welcome the chance to learn about your network.
